Robin's Joy Naturals Natural Joy For Hair & Skin

Robin's Joy Naturals, is born out of love for my 5 beautiful daughters, who all went natural, and spent much money on many overly priced popular products that promised way more than they delivered. Big companies with big names messin with my kids, (in the vernacular which I'm fond of hearing and oft times verbalizing myself )"Oh no they didn't. They gon learn today!" I began to research the ingredients on the labels of these products, and what I learned about some of the chemicals used in most cosmetics and hair care items, was upsetting to say the least. It's truly a shame what big business will do for a buck. For a holla at the consumers dollar, they will dang near kill you, to sell you a sweetly scented, lovely colored, inviting cosmetic bandage to cover over the wound they've created with their greed and deceit. On a later post, I will gladly share some of the chemicals, and compounds commonly used in things we consumers buy all the time that are not so consumer friendly. In the mean time, I like to learn and create my own healthy versions of hair and skin yum yum, that has grown into Robin's Joy Naturals!
I'm totally in Love with whipping up organic Butters and Oils to create soft, nourished, glowing hair and skin that's moisturized to the max, magic! I can't get enough of learning about the benefits of ordinarily, awesome herbs, oils and butters that nourish the skin we're in, inside and out. I'm obsessed with DIYing (Doing It Yourself-ing) almost anything but car care, lol...That I leave to the mechanics. Yet, I do enjoy learning the mechanics of how every day, ordinary products we use on our hair and skin work, and how they're made. If I can imitate and even improve upon a recipe (the kind we eat or wear on our bodies) I will study and attempt it in a minute. I like to think of myself as a "Mixtress" if you will, a "Kitchen Connoisseur" of scrumptious homemade hair and skin concoctions; a simple scientist of sorts, who loves to create beautiful wonderfully whipped cremes and oil blends for beautiful people. It's my passion. My Joy...hence Robin's Joy, to share the gifts God gave me. My strengths, the ones God gave me are a Joy given to me to share. As Nehemiah 8:10b says " Do not grieve for the Joy of the Lord is my strength." Enough said, right? Till next post...Find the joy in living, and live your life to the full!
